Just wanted to give some feedback on The Rattlers and Mark who played at our Christmas party Saturday night- both Mark and the band were flawless as usual. We’re impressed at how professional Mark remained while there were some delays in our run sheet and were fluid with playing a little longer to “hide” the timings.
The band never fails to get everyone up on the dancefloor with a great mix of songs that appeal to a wide range of or staff. Both last and this year we have had staff raving about the band!

When I stumbled across The HIPNOTICS on DGM’s website, I knew I had to book them for my Dad’s surprise 60th birthday party at Mission Estate Winery, Napier. During the party and the following day’s “after party”, conversations began with positive comments and recognition in regards to the band. My two requests to them were a few Van Morrison bangers and to get the guests up on the dance floor. Both of these were fulfilled and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. A special mention to David for his rendition of VM’s ‘Tupelo Honey’, you nailed it and Dad was beyond thrilled. Thank you for making our night extra memorable. I am very happy to provide a reference for Madsen Promotions, and welcome personal phone calls from anyone wishing to discuss the suitability of this band for their social event. In my capacity as Director of Events for VetLearn (NZ Veterinary Assn), I have used this band on a number of occasions for conference dinners - most recently this has been at the NZVA Conference Gala Dinner; I also attended the CANZ (Conference Assn NZ) Conference in Nelson, where this group had been engaged to provide entertainment for the main conference dinner. I have found this group reliable organisationally, and their music has always proved extremely popular with a conference group. Their 'covers' often sound better than the originals, and the vocal quality and range of their lead singer is quite outstanding. Their repertoire is varied and extensive, with particular strengths in the music of the Bee Gees, Freddie Mercury, and Neil Diamond. You will not be disappointed.

Whitewash played at our wedding two weeks ago and they rocked! They played songs the crowd loved and at the end of the night we heard chants of "One More Song!". FIVE STARS - We booked Whitewash for our beach/garden wedding in Waitakere after hearing them play in Matakana. They have a fantastic repertoire and played an amazing set tailored just to us - they even learned a special song for our first dance. We had so many people telling us how impressed they were with the band, even the people who 'don't dance' couldn't help but get up and jump around. The guys literally played until their fingers bled! When the night ended everyone called for an encore and I'm still getting requests for their contact details. Friendly, professional, and totally the coolest covers band. thought they were great (and I think so too). They were really
professional but still friendly and happy to have a drink and a chat

We're a small club in a small rural community and the guys were probably a bit apprehensive when they arrived in our "blink-and-you-miss-it" village, but as happens in these little places, everyone comes out of the woodwork on big nights and the club was packed with happy little bee gee fans.

Becks and Michael were wonderful, everybody I've spoken to has said they
thought they were great (and I think so too). They were really
professional but still friendly and happy to have a drink and a chat
with us during the night. They were really flexible in terms of setting
up as we decided to have the dancing in a different place in the end,
and it wasn't a problem for them. And the singing was amazing of course!
They are both very talented and looked like they were having fun. Thanks
for a great recommendation, I'll definitely be recommending them to
friends etc.
You made things really easy and were very helpful too David, so thanks
very much for that. It made the process much easier. The only thing I
would add is that the credit card charge for using Paypal worked out to
be quite high, but I understand that there are limited options for
online credit card payment (and we could have done it through an invoice
too) so it's not a big issue.

The Hipnotics were brilliant at our wedding; they had everyone up and
dancing at the first song and the dance floor was packed until the final
curtain. Everyone just loved them.
Having an acoustic set playing while we were off having pictures taken,
and again during the meal between the speeches was just perfect. They
blended into the background but kept the atmosphere upbeat throughout the
entire day.
Our special day could not have been any more perfect and the Hipnotics

The Dominion
'Supermodel played as part of the line-up for a World Vision charity gig – with all proceeds going to help stop child exploitation in India.
Supermodel consists of four vocalists/musicians - Mark Hanify on guitar, Rose Hanify on keyboard, Michael White on bass, and Tony Kemp on drums.
Their second song Blondie kicked off the set, and boosted the atmosphere at the gig – the dance floor went from being mostly empty to mostly full – always a good sign.
Supermodel also performs as a covers band (The Rattlers) and their aptitude at this is displayed by their smooth cover of the Eurythmics' Sweet Dreams.
Supermodel have nailed their songs, their look – all they need now is some more radio play'.

We have just come back from a fabulous celebration over in the Wairarapa for my Dad's 60th - it was a super weekend! BUT what made the party (apart of course from the gathering of gorgeous family and friends) was the MUSIC! The HIPNOTICS band played absolutely amazing music and had everyone dancing within minutes of starting and had everyone dancing right to the end! THEY were incredible and I can entirely recommend them for Christmas celebrations, birthday parties, absolutely ANYTHING! They also had recommended a jazz band for the beginning of the evening which was used and they too were fabulous! ENTIRELY recommend them for anything - thanks for the super music and for just making that night a NIGHT of dancing! PERFECT!!

We had Touche's 5 piece band on Saturday night for our 1970's ball and they were fabulous. They were easy to work with, dressed in theme with us and their sound was awesome. We would like to thank you for your advice and patience as we planned the music for our wedding ceremony and reception.
There were many revisions to our music brief, but the final plans worked perfectly, and we could not agree more with the high recommendation which the Hypnotics is given by DGM.
From the PA system provided for the ceremony through to the final packdown of the event, everything was efficient and seamless.
The Hynotics are a superb act, all of our guests have raved about them, the quality of the sound and their undeniable talent. We do feel incredibly lucky to have had such fabulous artists perform at our party of a life time. They are full of energy, superb vocal artists and musicians, and kept the dance floor full all night.

Ben was fantastic, we provided a rough playlist of the type of music we wanted and asked Ben to find other suitable music to fill in the gaps. We only gave him a short list so the gaps were rather large and he absolutely exceeded our expectations. We had a fantastic wedding and Ben deserves alot of the credit for later in the night, even people who generally don't dance were up on the floor having a great time. All in all we were very pleased with the outcome and would be happy to recommend Ben in ther future.

The service by David Greer music was generally very good. The service in

Disappointing to get a call the day before the wedding to say the band was
on hold as the payment hadn't gone through. Was our fault (cheque in mail
rahter than DD) but felt this approach could have been a little 'softer'.

Dave and Christina came up to the Hawkes Bay to play at our wedding and I must say they were an absolute highlight to the evening! We booked the band from overseas so had never heard them live - we were really relying on the feedback we'd read from other satisfied customers. We have to say that we certainly weren't disappointed!! Our wedding served as a bit of a family reunion… they gave 100% the whole night and it was never long before more people were back up and dancing. We've had so many guests comment on how fantastic they were and especially how brilliant Christina was at singing Lady Gaga!! If we are ever to put on another big event, we'd definitely be contacting them again!!

Shaken Not Stirred came in very discreetly and set themselves up without interrupting the flow of the party and speeches as they progressed.

A quick note to say thank you to your company for helping make my parents' 50th anniversary a night to remember.
We managed to keep the music a surprise right up until the very last minute, and Mum and Dad were both delighted. They enjoyed listening to Paul playing his own music as well as hearing some of the songs that brought back memories from the 50s and 60s. The music added the perfect atmosphere to the occasion.
Paul is definitely talented musician and more than capable at coping with a changing schedule.

Shaun was FANTASTIC! The best you could ask for in a entertainer/singer for your wedding! I thought it was especially lovely how he was able to sing our first dance song, even without being able to find the backing track. Everyone was up dancing at some point in the night and from the moment he began playing there was no resting on the dancefloor. Shaun really knows how to interact with the crowd (old and young) and I had so many people asking where I found him, how much he was etc etc as they just loved him! What an amazing voice and range of songs for someone so young.
I'll be recommending him to anyone looking for a singer for their wedding!

Amanda and I are just back from honeymoon and wanted to let you know
what a fantastic contribution That 80s Band made to our wedding
party. From the opening bars of our first song it was clear that they
were going to be brilliant. I know we're hardly objective, but I've
never seen the dancefloor at a wedding so consistently packed with
people having a great time with the band. They couldn't have been
better. They also offered the groom a chance to belt out a bit of Bon
Jovi alongside them - always a winner with him if not the crowd! Pls
let us know if you ever want any recommendations for Evan and the
guys. They really made the night.
Thanks to you and the team too for a thoroughly professional
experience. The cost was a bit more than we initially anticipated but
worth it in the end given how good the band was.

Luke Whaanga was sensational. All age groups from children to our senior citizens loved his warm, flexible, patient personality that was charming and professional. Luke went further than we paid for, and made the night a success. At the end of the night the audience gave a haka, waiata and group performance to thank Luke for his generosity. Luke had lines of people wanting his autograph, and some were crying at the end of the night saying they didn't want to go home. Luke inspired the young and charmed everyone else. From Shearers and Pig Hunters to Social Workers and Maori Wardens we all had a tremendous time. Some believed Luke has a strong voice, he is a great MC and smooth dancer. He is going to be a great Maori entertainer in line with a young John Rowles. Luke is the whole package.

You made the comment to me that you don't often get the chance to play background music and really enjoyed doing so. I would strongly suggest that perhaps this is something you want to promote! We were very happy with that and I was also very grateful that you were all instantly responsive to my request to lower the volume when one song started off a little too loud. I think the they are a top act!

for our 50th Wedding Anniversary.
The highlight of the week was our Dine and Dance at 'The Pines' on
Saturday night.

mid-80's) to get up and dance, and it is not always so easy to please three
generations musically!

Hi David
Nick and his team were outstanding and so helpful - you were right on
the button when you recommended these guys and the band extended our
expectations
They arrived about 3pm to set up, we were having a run through with
things and they offered there sound system for our presentation how cool
was that.
They only had one break and put on music that still kept people on the
dance floor.
We only have praise for them and as I was cleaning up the next day
people were looking at using the venue and I had no hesitation in
recommending the band and going through David Greer as it removed stress
of an important part of a function.
So a big thank you and please pass onto the band how grateful we were to
have them playing for us and what a fantastic job they did from the
moment they arrived till they departed.

Collective response was that Suzanne was 'outstanding' and 'deserves more work'.
Coonsummate professional, well rehearsed (including a track she'd not done
before)and reliable about rehearsals, and performance times. She worked in
really well with the realatively inexperienced backing band, lifting their
performance in the process.Her voice was in great shape and she wowed the
crowds.
Offstage, she was humble,fun and just dead nice. A pleasure to work with her.

We were delighted with Brett Wallace at our event . He fitted in very well

March 2009. This is an event we organise on behalf of the Havelock Mussel
Festival Committee and we therefore wouldn't be able to confirm until after

The only disappointing factor was that we didn't have the patronage on the day that allowed for Grant to perform to a maximum crowd, however, Grant was very professional and delivered his performance as if there were a larger crowd to participate.
Your service is very efficient and accurate in promoting the entertainers. This accuracy was critical to ourselves who were looking at setting a certain ambience and finding an entertainer or entertainers that would help create this. Grants audio allowed us to actually listen and discover if his music would be suitable for this day.

We have now used this band twice, once for a small informal desk function and because we had so much fun, again at our annual conference last weekend.
