We’ve had friends say how hard it is to find a good DJ in Wellington, however your preparation and willingness to work with us (and the MC on the night) helped make the reception a great success.

“You guys are the “chicks with the hits”!  Not only do you have the most current and contemporary set list of any dance band I have booked recently, the quality of vocal and level of engagement you are able to develop with your audience is superb. All the feedback we have received from your performance has been stellar and everyone wants to see you back.”

This will be the 5th year running that we have had Shaun entertain at our Staff Christmas function. We keep asking him back because each year he just gets better. Shaun always manages to get people up on the dance floor and keep them there – simply from the choice and range of the music that he sings. He is always a true professional whose enthusiasm for entertaining people shines through with every performance.

Christina performed our favourite songs at our civil ceremony, including a gorgeous version of Songbird still brings tears to my eyes to recall.

Christina  is extremely professional and easy to communicate with. She has a lovely singing voice and as an accomplished guitarist as well. After the wedding so many of our guests commented on the electric atmosphere that having live music created.

"I wanted to drop you a note to (formally) thank you for a truly fantastic performance from the Hipnotics at my 50th Do at Prefab Hall  last night. I stopped counting the number of people that came up to me during the night to say how fantastic the band were - and in the next breath what  an amazing singer and performer the lead singer (Christina) is. It has been a similar theme this morning. I have received numerous texts and emails from friends saying what a great night they had and, without exception, everyone has mentioned the band. I was pretty confident that the band would be good, as my husband Matt is a musician and did a bit of research choosing them. However they far exceeded both Matt and my expectations. They really made the party - and I now have very sore feet from dancing. In short, the Hipnotics are a class act and they are an absolute credit to your agency. Cheers and thanks". Sarah Kemp
