The NZEA is a non-profit organisation committed to the betterment of the entertainment industry. We encourage our members to:

MEMBERS COMMITMENT

NZEA members have displayed a willingness to commit to professional development. Our members are committed to providing entertainment at the highest possible level of professionalism.

 

GUIDELINES FOR MEMBERSHIP

    • The NZEA was created in 2007 to protect consumers by maintaining a high professional standard for its members, and to assure quality presentations in steering NZ entertainers toward these professional standards. The following are guidelines for membership with the NZEA:
      • Professional equipment (not consumer grade) to be used by members
      • Minimum of 3 years performance experience
      • Acceptance of deposits and furnishing of a NZEA approved contract outlining confirmation of date, venue, event details, price and any other relevant details
      • Have references from reputable clients available
