A versatile covers band able to play almost any style of music to suit any occasion.

The band features two vocalists, Adrian and Jane, covering all the hits from 60’s rock and roll, disco to current day hits.
Prima has only live instrumentation, including 2 horns (sax and trombone) plus a full rhythm section of keyboards, bass and drums.
Prima comes with a top level sound system plus some great lighting effects to enhance the atmosphere at your event

SWING BAND;
Prima Swing Riot- is a live7 piece band comprising 2 vocalists, a great rhythm section of keyboards bass drums, plus the magic of 2 horn players, performing fully arranged original swing plus neo swing hits.

Specialist in the new NEO SWING bands such as: Cherry Poppin Daddies, Brian Setzer Orchestra, Royal Crown
Revue, Big Bad Voodoo Daddies and other Neo Swing bands that are emerging with the revival of swing/shuffle/jive music which appeals to young and old alike – it’s fun, it’s fast and it’s great to dance to.

Covers of the fantastic Louis Prima band of the 50’s 60’s Las Vegas era. Includes all the hits made by Louis with Sam Butera and Keely Smith including hits like “Just a Gigilo” “Beuno Sera” “Jump Jive and Wail” “the Lip”

All the old favourite swing artists: Louis Jordon, Frank Sinatra, the Andrews Sisters, Dean Martin, Glenn Millar Jonah Jones, to name but a few
Best of all the band can move in to covers of popular hits for latter in the evening if required, ensuring the success of your evening.
This well rehearsed band includes some of New Zealand’s best known & finest musicians and stars Adrian Keeling (Shortland Street) and Jane Horder on vocals. The band comes complete with sound system (with operator), lighting effects and smoke machine (optional).
