Instrumental duo King Tubbs perform classic jazz through to dubbed out jazzy twists on popular songs and grooves. The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, The Police, Chilli Peppers, Earnest Raglan, just to name a few. This unique combination of virtuosity, soul and feel is what sets King Tubbs apart. The duo features Harry Harrison (Guitar,Loops) and Justine S (Saxophones,Flute)
Highly accomplished guitarist Harry Harrison, has a myriad of styles and musical achievements under his belt. He has played with artists such as Bic Runga, Dave Dobbyn, and Mary Coughlin. The versatile Justine S on saxophones, flute and keys, has broad experience playing in original bands and in Jazz Festivals throughout New Zealand. King Tubbs are ideal for any situation, intimate settings or upbeat bar environments.
