BAND BIO
David Greer is a Wellington-based singer, guitarist and songwriter with extensive performance experience and more that 2000 live shows behind him.
He has performed throughout New Zealand and internationally, and over the years his bands have included members of Fat Freddies Drop, Trinity Roots, Shapeshifter, Little Bushmen and Supergroove. David currently performs as a solo artist and with his original band, DOGTOWN.
David is a past winner of the AWIA Wellington Music Awards singer-songwriter award.
David has been writing songs for many years, but releasing them has never quite reached the top of his busy to-do list, until now. In 2026 he is putting his original music front and centre, beginning with the release of ‘Merry Go Round’, the first single from his forthcoming Audio Biography album.
