BAND BIO

Ideal For background for wedding, birthday, business function garden party, and concerts.

Sasha plays a huge variety of pieces from many genres, Spanish, Classical, folk, 60’s and 70’s popular tunes and originals Sasha has a Diploma of Performance Music from Auckland University where he studied with Gunter Herbig for three years. He then spent a year with the renowned musicians Miles and Margaret Jackson before travelling abroard to Europe Canada and Venezuela to continue his studies with the guitar master Celso Machado. Sasha is especially grateful for his teacher and mentor Emile Bibobie who nurtured and inspired him in his formative years. He has performed in a variety of ensembles as well as his own solo classical concerts. Sasha teaches guitar from home, plays for people’s weddings with Natarani Theobald on the cello (as well as solo) and arranges house concerts. Sasha has been a professional musician in Auckland for seven years.
